Future mobility solution company WEFLO will be participating in AUVSI Xponential 2025, North America's largest unmanned aircraft exhibition, held in Houston, USA, from May 19th to 22nd.

Since its inception in 1972, AUVSI Xponential, hosted by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), will feature 495 exhibiting companies this year, offering attendees a comprehensive overview of the latest technologies and industry trends. As an international event showcasing cutting-edge advancements in aviation, drones, robotics, and AI, it provides a platform for experts to discuss the latest technologies and future trends, alongside the exhibition of best practices. The event encompasses not only the exhibition but also conferences, panel discussions, and various other programs.

Making its debut at this exhibition, WEFLO will join the joint pavilion of the Korea Institute of Aviation Safety Technology (KIAST), a government-affiliated organization under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, to present South Korea's leading drone technology to the international stage alongside 11 promising domestic drone companies, including Preneu and UVify. Notably, WEFLO will showcase its core technology-integrated AI-based drone autonomous inspection solution, 'verti-Pit QC,' aiming to demonstrate its innovative capabilities to stakeholders in the global drone market.

'verti-Pit QC' is a solution that automatically and precisely inspects and analyzes key components of drones, such as external defects, airframe integrity, and battery status, based on non-contact sensing technology and a specialized vertical AI algorithm. By efficiently detecting potential mechanical defects in the drone production phase through an automated process, this solution enhances production yield and strengthens quality control. Having already been successfully adopted by leading domestic drone manufacturers and recognized for its performance, WEFLO is now actively pursuing global market entry. Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to experience the capabilities of the autonomous inspection solution through a prototype demonstration of 'verti-Pit QC.'

Furthermore, WEFLO's Communication Director, Seihee Kim, will be participating as a speaker at the conference session on May 21st, presenting on the topic 'AI Empowers Drone Safety.' Through this presentation, WEFLO will delve into the core technical principles of 'verti-Pit QC,' real-world industrial application cases, and an in-depth discussion on the transformative impact of AI technology on drone safety and future prospects. In particular, as drone utilization increases across various industries, highlighting the growing importance of safety management, WEFLO aims to present a new paradigm in safety management and showcase the role and future outlook of AI-based autonomous inspection solutions.

WEFLO's CEO, Yeejung Kim, stated, "Participating in AUVSI Xponential 2025 will be a significant opportunity to widely promote WEFLO's differentiated drone technology to the global market and establish strategic collaborations with potential global partners. By participating in the KIAST joint pavilion, we aim to contribute to enhancing the international competitiveness of the Korean drone industry and play a leading role in creating a safer and more reliable drone manufacturing and operation environment through WEFLO's 'verti-Pit QC' solution."
