WEFLO, a future mobility solution company, has formed a strategic partnership by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with L2 Aviation Solutions (L2 Aviation), a global aviation electronics integration company, to jointly develop aircraft inspection technology.

WEFLO is artificial intelligence(AI) and data-driven diagnostic technologies to develop solutions that revolutionize the safety, reliability, and operational efficiency of the ground and air mobility industries as a whole. By converting intelligent multi-modal sensors and specialized vertical AI technology, it quickly and accurately diagnoses the soundness of various mobility such as drones, air taxis, and electric vehicles, and provides predictive maintenance solutions to reduce maintenance costs and build a safe driving environment.

L2 Aviation is a U.S.-based integrated aviation electronics company founded in 1997, offering state-of-the-art aviation electronics solutions and expertise. It provides a wide range of services such as support, certification, engineering, and equipment sales to global companies such as EFI and FEAM AERO, contributing to keeping customers' aircraft fleet up to date and maximizing operational efficiency.

Through this agreement, WEFLO It will work with AI-based contactless diagnostic solutions to integrate L2 Aviation's aviation engineering, maintenance expertise, certification processes, and operational experience. By combining the core capabilities and expertise of both companies, we aim to develop aircraft inspection technology that can maximize the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of aircraft maintenance and reduce operating costs. In particular, empirical research and technology verification using Wiplo's automatic inspection solution are expected to lead innovation in the aircraft maintenance process and contribute to enhancing the safety and efficiency of the global aviation industry.

Yeejung Kim, CEO of WEFLO "This MOU with L2 Aviation, the leading company in the industry, will be an important opportunity for WEFLO's AI-based inspection technology to be recognized for its innovation and potential in the global aviation market," he said. "Through close cooperation between the two companies, we will dramatically improve the safety and efficiency of the aviation industry and focus all our capabilities on developing an automatic inspection solution for air taxi aircraft by expanding to the future aviation mobility (AAM) industry."

"We are very encouraged to open new possibilities in the aircraft maintenance field through strategic cooperation with WEFLO, which has advanced AI technology," said COO Tony Bailey of L2 Aviation. "By combining the accumulated experience and expertise of both companies, we will create a safer and more efficient aircraft operating environment and actively contribute to the development of the aviation mobility industry in the future."
