- Participating in CES for the second consecutive year accelerates global market penetration
- CES 2025 Innovation Award-winning 'verti-Pit mini' and 'Portable verti-Pit' for air taxis will be displayed.
- AI-based smart drone inspection equipment concept unveiled for the first time.
WEFLO, a company specializing in future air mobility (AAM) solutions, will participate in CES, the world's largest consumer electronics and IT fair, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 7th to 10th next year. With the support of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, WEFLO will set up a booth at the Eureka Park Kotra Integration Hall to introduce a mobility inspection solution.
At CES 2025, WEFLO will unveil ▲ portable drone inspection solution 'verti-pit mini' ▲ air taxi inspection solution 'Portable verti-pit' ▲ AI-based smart drone inspection solution 'verti-pit QC'.
The 'verti-Pit mini', which won the Innovation Award in the 'Drone' category of CES 2025, is a portable inspection solution that quickly and accurately diagnoses the condition of small drones. It is characterized by a non-contact method that accurately diagnoses the drone condition within about 10 seconds and predicts failures through AI data analysis to prevent safety problems in advance. As an inspection solution for the safe operation of small drones used for drone art shows and reconnaissance, you can watch the product at the innovation showcase.
WEFLO's corporate promotion booth at the KOTRA Integration Center will display the air taxi inspection solution "Portable verti-Pit." "Potable Bertifit" is a version of the existing drone inspection pad for air taxis, and is a portable solution that can quickly and accurately check the aircraft before takeoff. It is possible to increase the efficiency of air taxi operation by automating the pre-flight check of the aircraft, which was previously conducted by pilots and technicians with the naked eye, and to ensure safety through more accurate and precise inspections. Last month, the solution was unveiled at the air taxi exhibition "Air Taxi World Congress" to receive love calls from global airframe manufacturers and discuss cooperation.
WEFLO will unveil the AI-based smart drone inspection equipment 'verti-Pit QC' for the first time at this exhibition. "verti-Pit QC" is a device that can automatically check mechanical defects within seconds during the end-of-line (EoL) process of the drone production stage, and can increase production efficiency and strengthen quality control. It is currently being tested by a domestic drone manufacturer and is expected to be delivered in the first half of next year.
"2025 is an important year to prepare for the commercialization of air taxi services, and the importance of inspection solutions for safe and efficient operation will increase," said CEO of WEFLO, Yee-jung Kim. "We will introduce AI-based mobility inspection solutions to the world through CES 2025 participation and take the lead in building a future mobility ecosystem by forming a global network with partners around the world."
