WEFLO, a future aviation mobility (AAM) solution startup, participated in CES 2025, the world's largest consumer electronics and IT fair, held in Las Vegas for two consecutive years, drawing attention from the industry by unveiling drone quality control (QC) equipment.

In this exhibition, WEFLO introduced the AI-based smart drone quality management equipment 'verti-Pit QC' for the first time. verti-Pit QC can automatically check mechanical defects within seconds without flying drones directly during the end-of-line (EoL) process in the production stage, dramatically increasing production efficiency compared to conventional flying test methods. It is evaluated as an essential solution for drone manufacturers trying to establish a mass production system, and global drone manufacturers have shown high willingness to purchase.

In particular, global players who discussed the possibility of collaboration at the 'Air Taxi World Congress' held in London, England in November visited the WEFLO booth to discuss specific cooperation plans. Air taxi airframe manufacturers Joby Aviation and Archer Aviation visited the booth to discuss ways to secure the safety of air taxis with WEFLO's portable airframe inspection solution "Potable vertical-Pit" and to automate pre-take-off inspections to operate efficiently.

In addition, France's group ADP, a global airport operator, visited the booth twice to discuss in-depth how to lay the groundwork for the safe operation of AAM through the automatic airframe inspection solution "IAI Platform." The high interest of these global companies is a result of showing that WEFLO's AI inspection solution is recognized for its high competitiveness in the global market.

The 'verti-Pit mini', which won the Innovation Award in the drone category of CES 2025, also attracted a lot of attention. verti-Pit mini is a portable inspection solution that quickly and accurately diagnoses the condition of small drones in a non-contact manner through a multi-modal sensor developed by itself. Recently, demand has been confirmed in the defense field, where drones must be used in the field based on missions, and it is expected to be used in various fields.

"We will promote WEFLO's technology to the world in CES 2025 and establish cooperative relationships with global companies," said CBO Chief Business Officer Seok Min-jin, adding, "We will change the paradigm of the future mobility industry through our AI inspection solution and strengthen our position in the global market through cooperation with global players."
