Wiplo announced on the 19th that it won the Innovation Award for its portable drone inspection solution at the world's largest home appliance and IT exhibition 'CES 2025'.
The company said Wiplo, a company specializing in future aviation mobility (AAM) solutions, won the Innovation Award in the drone sector for its portable drone inspection solution "Bertifit Mini" and was recognized for its technological prowess in the global market. Wiplo presented its first innovation award through the Bertifit Mini.
Bertifit Mini is a portable inspection solution that quickly and accurately diagnoses the condition of small drones. It is a miniaturized version of the 'Bertifit' for existing large drones. It can be carried and easily checked before the drone's mission. Bertie Fit was established in about 23 locations nationwide through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's drone delivery demonstration project.
The Bertipit Mini is equipped with sensors developed independently by Wiplo and an artificial intelligence (AI)-based diagnostic system. Through the system, it is possible to accurately diagnose the drone condition in about 10 seconds in a non-contact manner and predict failures through data-based AI analysis to prevent safety problems in advance. It overcomes the limitations of the existing visual inspection method and can increase the efficiency of drone operation by unmanned and automated drone inspection.
We will continue to develop more accurate and reliable inspection solutions through advanced AI inspection and build a platform that can be applied to various mobility to grow into a leading company in the global market, said Kim Eui-jung, CEO of Wiplo.
