Future aviation mobility startup Weflo said Tuesday that it will participate in CES 2025, the world's largest consumer electronics and technology trade show that opens next week in Las Vegas.

Supported by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Weflo will present its advanced mobility inspection solutions, including verti-Pit mini, Portable verti-Pit and verti-Pit QC.

The verti-Pit mini was recognized as an “Honoree in Drone” this year for streamlining the inspection process. This compact, intelligent drone inspection system uses noncontact sensors and artificial intelligence-powered diagnostics to eliminate the need for manual inspections. According to Weflo, it can deliver fast and accurate fault diagnoses in just 10 seconds, identifying potentially fragile components.

The Portable verti-Pit offers a portable inspection solution for air taxis. By automating manual preflight checks typically performed by pilots and mechanics, it aims to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Weflo showcased this solution at the Airtaxi World Congress last month, where it received multiple collaboration offers.

Weflo is to unveil its smart drone inspection solution, the verti-Pit QC, for the first time at CES 2025. This AI-based system is capable of detecting mechanical imperfections within seconds during the end-of-line stage of drone manufacturing. A domestic drone manufacturer is currently testing the system, and Weflo plans to begin deliveries by the first half of next year.

“As air taxi services move closer to commercialization, the need for advanced inspection solutions will continue to grow,” said Kim Yee-jung, CEO of Weflo. “At CES 2025, we aim to introduce our AI-driven mobility inspection technologies to the global market and establish partnerships worldwide.”
